Initial consultation £55.13
Repeat Consultation £52.72
Remote Consultation(b) £48.40
Telephone Advice(a) FREE
(a) Telephone advice and over the counter medications can be obtained free of
charge from a Veterinary Nurse or one of our trained reception team,
however, they are legally not permitted to diagnose or issue prescription medication. This can be appropriate for minor injuries or stomach upsets.
Remote Consultations
These are a great way to reduce your pets 'white coat syndrome' if they experience anxiety coming to the vet (although we do our best to reduce this!). It also can be more convenient for you, and for us, it reduces the amount of fluff we have to clear up after a face to face consult! They may be conducted by telephone and/or email with attached photos or videos. We don't advise use of video apps, whilst they are great for a chat they rarely provide the picture quality we require. These are conducted by our own vets, we don't farm out remote consults to a third party.
(b) These types of consultation are chargeable when they are conducted with a vet, replace an in person consult and/or require clinical advice/diagnosis or prescription of medications.
They are not charged on occasions where a treatment plan cannot appropriately be initiated remotely, and require in person consultation. In this case the remote consultation is not charged in addition to the in person consult.
Examples of reasons for remote consultations:
Assessment for possible toxicities.
Skin (dermatology) problems, excluding lumps and bumps as they often need sampling.
Recurrences of previously documented issues not seen recently but require additional prescription medication or advice.
