Nationally, this coincides with a shortage of Vets and Vet Nurses generally, compounded by the effects of self-isolations, childcare issues, seasonal holiday and increased pet ownership.
We are both increasing our appointment slots for you and closely ‘managing’ them to maintain essential availability for unwell pets. This means that the current waiting times for routine appointments for healthy pets (eg vaccinations) has extended from your normal 3-7 days to around 14 days. Please bear this in mind when booking appointments. Routine operations also now have similar waiting times. When requesting written prescriptions, please give us 2-3 days notice. If you wish to cancel your appointment, please let us know with as much notice as possible so we can rebook these appointments for urgent cases. We are sorry if this causes disappointment, but be rest assured if you find your pet is unwell we will still see them in an appropriate time frame and dedicate sufficient time to manage them to our expected high level of care.
